Well for the first time I've spotted the waves of Void$upport washing up on the shores of the blogosphere. Larry Anderson over at the American Thinker has a great opening plan of action for Conservatives cut adrift in the Republican ocean. Maybe this is not a bad analogy... We need to set our course and retake the party that naturally belongs to Conservatives and get the Wastrels out of the way. Check it out and read the comments for further inspirational notes and ideas.

Waking the Wastrels
As if it weren't bad enough that John McCain was the Nominee for the Republican Party in the 2008 election... this is the course we will take again and again and again if we refuse to teach why Conservatism works and why it is America's best hope.
So you say to yourself..."what can I do?" "I'm just out here in the middle of somewhere... one person can't make a difference... those "Wastrels" in DC won't listen to me... who am I to think I can change Washington, it's beyond help... they have all the money, they can do what they want..." I say, you're right. If that's the way you want to look at things... you're right. You've already lost and there's nothing you CAN do.
But you can't look at things that way. The secret kept from us all until now is that they Need YOU. They Need YOU to send out $50 to the Republican National Committee. They Need YOU to pass out flyers. They Need YOU to organize local functions and fundraisers. They Need YOU to come out and vote. ...in the end They Need YOU... more than we need them.
So you ask... What can I do? It is time to find candidates for Local, State, and US Elected offices who are better suited to give each of us the best chance at a better life for ourselves and our families. The main focus should be on Fiscal Conservatives.
We all look at the world of finance and money and investments with new eyes in the wake of $350,000,000,000 ($350 billion) getting passed out and not a ripple of benefit to any us. The Auto Bailout will be the same... they'll go on making more cars we can't buy because they have spent all our money. The second $350,000,000,000 ($350 billion) will be the same. The 1,200,000,000,000 ($1,200 billion) may put a few back to work but for how long? What a Merry-Go-Round we're on.
It would be nice to spend like that and then go home to a $174,000 per year salary with the best health care available on planet earth. Nice if it's not your money... but they're spending our money and our children and grandchildren and great-grand-children's inheritance. Is this what you want to leave them.
"What can I do", you ask.
Write a check.
"Huh? Are you nuts? I'm broke after all the inflation from the weakening dollar and lay-offs and high heating costs from the coldest winter weather on record."
Write a check. Void that check out but write it out for the full amount you would support your local candidate. Void it out with a big red Sharpie, or blue or black... Void it out and send it in. Send it to your Congressman with a note about why they haven't won your support.
So you say "I don't have any money..." This is only going to cost you the postage and your time venting your frustrations. Void those checks. Send them to the RNC. Void them boldly! Send them to your congressman. Void them out.
